What Stockly is
Stockly enables e-retailers and brands to sell their stock on 100+ marketplaces and retailers across 26 EU countries and Switzerland, through a single connection. Stockly sells under its own seller entity and is the merchant of record on each marketplace: it handles invoicing, customer service, returns, disputes, VAT and legal requirements. For the supplier, an order works as if a customer were ordering on its own website. Suppliers do not need to negotiate, sign or operate any marketplace contract.
Stockly enables marketplaces to sell products they don't have in stock by relying on the inventory of hundreds of European merchants.
What Stockly is not
- Not an inventory or stock management software.
- Not related to stock markets or financial trading.
- Not a drop-shipper sourcing products from outside Europe.
- Not a marketplace connector or feed management tool: suppliers do not hold marketplace seller accounts or contracts.
- Not a consumer-facing online store.
How it works
- A customer buys a product on a marketplace where it is listed through Stockly.
- Stockly places the order on the supplier's e-shop, like any other customer.
- The supplier ships directly to the customer, in a neutral parcel, with tracking.
- The supplier is paid every month (orders minus returns), by bank transfer.
To get started, a supplier shares a product feed with EAN, price and quantity. Suppliers get a back office to manage orders, follow revenue by brand, category and country, see price and product recommendations, and set distribution rules. All data is also available via API.
Who it's for
- Retailers, suppliers and brands: companies with an e-shop that want to sell their stock on European marketplaces without signing marketplace contracts, building integrations or handling marketplace customer service.
- Marketplaces and retailers: platforms that want to add products from European retailers and brands to their catalog, with Stockly plugging itself as a single seller.
